Each Activity group have assemblies for their category that are held 5 times a year, which is run by the Activities Reps. The assemblies are your chance to have your say about anything that affects your society, suggestions on how to make things better for societies or LUU in general, and to feed in the opinions of your members about Better Forum Ideas. Activities Reps may also arrange for speakers to come in, or organise group events or socials.
Assemblies are also a great opportunity to network with other societies, find out what they are up to, and share best practice and resources. You also get the opportunity to put questions to the Student Exec and find out how their roles and manifestos affect your group but also you as individuals, as well as hold them to account.
Activities Reps will send out agendas prior to meetings, which you can add items to if there’s anything you want to discuss. They will also inform you of when and where assemblies are, so be sure to check their updates.
