About us

The Leeds Women in Leadership society (WILSoc) is a multi-award winning society and officially one of the best in the country. We exist to serve YOU, our members. Our goal is to smash the invisible barriers that stop students getting to where they want to be. We embody inclusion and ambition. We empower all genders to grow professionally and provide a platform for students to socialise with others who have similar interests.

The society aims to raise awareness of gender inequality in the workplace and why this issue needs to be addressed by everyone. We are building a strong community where members can rely on each other to learn from one another’s experiences and create networks for life.
