Welcome to the Leeds University Amnesty International Society

Amnesty is a human rights organisation that campaigns to protect people wherever justice, fairness, freedom and truth are denied. We have weekly meetings where we discuss, plan and prepare campaigns that run throughout the year.
Whether you've got an artisitc flare for banner-making, a fiery mind for debating or you're just passionate about human rights, Amnesty is a society open for everyone. Come along whether you know lots or nothing at all, and join us to make a difference this year!
Here is an idea of the Refugees Welcome campaign that we worked on in 2015/2016

Go on, get involved!

Come along to our 'Give it a Go' session on Thursday 6th October, 6 - 7pm in Michael Sadler LG.19 and see if this is the society for you!
We meet every week on Thursdays at 6 - 7pm in Michael Sadler LG.19 and new members are always welcome! It's very relaxed and you don't have to commit yourself to coming every week.
