Leeds Gryphons Baseball

We are one of the newest and most exciting societies at the University, celebrating one of the most intense and fast paced sports in the world!

As a part of the pioneering movement to grow baseball throughout the UK, Leeds University Union now offers you the chance to be a part of one of the country's fastest growing sports.

Here at baseball society we are interested in giving everyone an authentic, involved and most importantly fun baseball experience; whether it's at our training sessions where beginners and veterans alike can get their hands on bats and gloves, or a competitive game in the northern university league, or at one of our socials where we get together for food, drinks or to watch an MLB game.

We provide the gear so just turn up and have fun!

Membership Fee: £35

Come to our weekly training session on Saturdays, 11am - 1pm. Each session is FREE OF CHARGE for the first time this year at Abbey Grange Academy school fields with our state of the art equipment.

If you are interested in taking baseball to the competitive level, LUU Baseball are a team in the Northern Univerisity Baseball League (NUBL). Regular games scattered throughout the academic year means there are plenty of opportunities to play against other University teams accross the north of England.

Playing for our team also means you will be in for a chance of winning an award at our end of year awards ceremony which also sees the inauguration of the exec for the following year.
