In 2011, LUU's Horse Riding Club established a volunteering project with the Riding for the Disabled Association. We raised £2000 through a charity calendar and decided we wanted to get students involved in something positive in the community! If you join our project, you will be able to come along and work with children with disabilities. You will be involved in leading the ponies and side walking during lessons. You do not have to purchase a club membership to volunteer with us and you do not have to volunteer every week, just whenever you can or whenever you want and it’s absolutely free! Just click 'join this group' and you will be added to our mailing list. Volunteering with the RDA is really good fun, very rewarding and is an opportunity to contribute to a great charity.
