Leeds Mens Cricket

                                                                 Vere, Demens, Profunde

Welcome to the University of Leeds Men's Cricket Club. With 3 teams competing in the BUCS League each summer, a Development XI, Give It A Go sessions and 2 winter indoor teams, there is something for everyone no matter of cricketing ability or background.

UoLMCC will quickly become a cornerstone of your time here at Leeds; there is the opportunity to be involved in an activity every day of the week throughout the winter. This could simply be a weekly training session, playing for the intermural football team or embarking on the Wednesday social.

Our club ethos is simple; to perform at the highest level both on and off the field whilst the opportunities the club can provide will shape your time at University and create a lasting association with UoLMCC.

We enjoy an extensive social calendar throughout the year, consisting of weekly Wednesday socials, several themed events, and a tour away at Easter. These are not only open to playing members, but to development and social members as well.

Playing Season

During the summer, UoLMCC can give you the opportunity to play in three very competitive BUCS leagues and play at some of the best University grounds on the circuit. Training also continues and allows a break away from the busy exam periods.

The UoLMCC Development XI also plays competitive fixtures against both local and touring sides.

Squad training takes place at the Headingley Indoor School every Tuesday 5-7pm whilst the Development training takes place at the Edge Sports Hall at 7-9 pm. Fitness sessions take place on a Wednesday afternoon and Thursday Evening.

LUUMCC and Yorkshire Cancer Research

LUUMCC began a partnership with YCR in 2015 and in September 2015 8 individuals from the club took part in the Great North Run and managed to raise over £1700.

This is a close relationship that the club is always looking to build on and raise both awareness and money to help support all of Yorkshire Cancer Research's good work.

Please be aware that you do not have personal accident insurance cover related to this activity.  If you would like any cover, please seek this individually.  Here are some providers that you can enquire with:
