About the Club:

LUUNC is one of the best performance sports at the University of Leeds. As mentioned above, the club was awarded Club of the Year in the 2014/15 season, following on from winning Team of the Year 2013/14. This year we would like to continue to improve further and maintain our high standards.

There are 6 teams in the club, not including the development squad (see below for more details) - all 6 of which offer the opportunity to play in competitive BUCS leagues.

Being a part of the Netball club will shape your time at Leeds, so attend the Freshers Fair to sign up and meet the Exec Team who can answer any further questions! (See date & time below)

Wednesday night socials are always memorable events. The club Social Secretaries organise these nights and come up with a theme that everyone dresses up to accordingly, so... bring your sewing kit!
Socials are a great way to get to know all members of the club, as well as those from the other sports teams across the University.

We train hard so we can party harder!

- FRESHERS FAIR: Where you sign up to trials.

- VARSITY: Only one of THE biggest events in Leeds Uni history

In addition to the 6 BUCS teams, we also have a Development squad, who have had their own committee for the last 5 years, another example of the vast development of the Club. The Development squads play in the Intra-Mural league run by the Sport and Physical Activity Division of the University. The Development squads also act as a feeder for the BUCS squads if substantial improvement is made. Development can provide fun and recreation for those seeking less serious Netball and all abilities are welcome.

In previous years, the BUCS squads and Development squads have been run almost as two separate entities. However, to continue in our aim to improve the Club further, we appointed two Development Co-ordinators last season, in an attempt to unite the squads and resultantly strengthen the Club.
