Women's rugby is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK, and for good reason too! Rugby is great for general fitness but it's also one of the most social sports out there. At Leeds we welcome players of all abilities, from complete novices to pros. So as long as you've got an interest in the game it doesn't matter if you've never picked up a rugby ball before - most of our current players hadn't before they came to University! Come along with enthusiasm and energy and you’ll fit right in.
Membership for the year is £48, or can be split to £30 at the beginning of the year and another £30 in January.
The membership costs cover match fees and training for the year, and include a free Leeds Women's Rugby T shirt and university Sports Pass gaining you access to weekly strength and conditioning sessions in The Edge.
We play in BUCS league North 1A. For more details on this league check out the LUUWRUFC team profile on the BUCS website!
We also have a development team which have newly been entered into a BUCS league! There is also the opportunity to play regular friendly games with local clubs throughout the year and various development festivals.
Our AGM for 2018/2019 committee will take place on Thursday 26th April. This is open for all members to apply for committee roles.
