If you are concerned about a gambling addiction, either for yourself or someone you know then it is important to talk to someone and get help.

GamCare provides information and counselling services to gamblers and their families. The GamCare Helpline provides confidential advice, information and emotional support throughout Great Britain to anyone experiencing problems with gambling. You can call them on 0808 8020 133, 8.00am to 12.00 midnight, 7 days a week.

Gamblers Anonymous runs a support group offering help and advice for compulsive gamblers. You can call them on 020 7384 3040 or email young.private@gamblersanonymous.org.uk.

Things you can do. 

There is several software packages you can download to block or limit your access to sites. 

Gamblock this is a paid software package that you can use to block or manage your access to sites. 

K9 Web Protection is free software that can block or restrict access to websites. It has multiple functions such as time restrictions and SafeSearch for search engines. It's compatiable for Windows and Apple computers and also iOS and Android apps. 

Speak to venues that you attend to gamble to ask for support.
