In our department we’re passionate about all things student activities; from Clubs and Societies to volunteering and our Give it a Go programme. We’re looking for a new person to join us, to manage our admin team and ensure we are offering our committees and members a consistently high standard of support for their activity. With over 20,000 students actively involved in our 330 groups, they require assistance and support in many different ways.
As well as the Clubs and Societies activities, we also coordinate several events, from Varsity to Celebrate Week, that our Admin Team help to support, ensuring high quality, successful events for our students.
Our Clubs and Societies hire a lot of vehicles, including minibuses and vans and we’re looking for someone who can manage our transport processes, including minibus MIDAS training and assessment, to ensure our groups are well trained and safe on the roads. To do this you’ll need to hold a D1 qualification; if you have this already that’s great, but we’re really just looking for someone with good driving experience who is willing and keen to undertake training and assessment to gain this qualification.
