Communication Matters (CM) is a charitable company limited by guarantee and is run by a board of volunteer Trustees/directors who in turn employ two members of staff.


We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent IT skills and experience of working in an administration environment. No two days are ever the same. You will be working under instruction from the Charity Manager and occasionally on own initiative within organisational strategies.

Tasks will include: assisting with the organisation of Study Days, Roadshows and an Annual Conference; involvement in the production and distribution of the CM Journal; helping to maintain the CM social media presence including its web page, Facebook page, Twitter feed.

What skills are required?

You’ll be a natural organiser with a high attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Previous administration experience is a must, along with excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.

Rate of Pay

£9k - £11k + work based pension


The post-holder will be based in the Communication Matters Office on the Leeds University Campus and will be managed by the Charity Manager
