Tutor Doctor is a multinational tutoring organisation with over 200 offices globally. Our aims revolve around making a difference to students’ lives and helping individuals achieve their academic potential with personalised programmes of in-home one-to-one tuition.

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic private tutors throughout Leeds (and Bradford) in all national curriculum subjects, especially English, Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. We are looking for tutors to support primary, secondary, GCSE and A Level students. All academic subjects will be considered as we support students with all subjects at all levels. The benefits of working with Tutor Doctor for you include: - set your own schedule to fit around your lifestyle. As a self-employed tutor, you have the support of a reputable company whilst being able to pick your own hours and number of students. - work in pre-screened homes, knowing that you have been specifically matched with a student who is right for you. - receive competitive, consistent pay: our tutoring model is based on long-term learning. Our tuition programmes consist of blocks of hours, so whenever you receive a tutoring assignment you are often guaranteed work for several months at a time. - we handle all payments, so you are paid monthly and on time. - continued support throughout your tutoring assignments. - you are not just a tutor: through living our core values you have the opportunity to connect to something bigger. We're with you every step of the way to help you grow as a person and in your career.

What skills are required?

Our ideal tutors: - have a degree or are undergraduates from their 2nd year onwards. - are passionate about sharing their subject knowledge and genuinely care about helping their students improve and achieve academically. - have good knowledge and understanding of the subject curriculum. - are flexible, organised and reliable. - have excellent communication skills. - have previous tutoring experience. - have access to own transport or reliable public transport to travel to students’ homes throughout Leeds (and potentially Bradford).
