Are you able to deliver customer service excellence for a National museum? Part of the wider Science Museum Group, the National Railway Museum is passionate about providing the highest standards of customer care, ensuring our diverse audiences have a great day out. To support this ongoing commitment, we are looking for a part-time Customer Enquiries Assistant to join us in York. In this role, you will work with our Visitor Experience team ensuring all visitor enquiries are answered to the highest standards. Managing incoming calls to our switchboard as well as through email and social media you will always reply with a friendly and courteous answer, representing the museum and its values.
What skills are required?
Joining us, you will be detail driven and able to provide polite communications. Competent at managing workloads on your own initiative, you will provide exceptional customer service and be confident in handling complaints or when passing on feedback to the relevant department.
