What the Idea is about:

I would like to lobby LCC to improve pavements on campus to ensure that all students can get around safely.

Why have you proposed it?

Pavements and pedestrian routes on campus are publicly owned and maintained by the city council. Pavements are very uneven and not maintained; this means that for a large amount of people it is difficult to get around campus. This includes but does not exclude disabled students/parents pushing prams and older citizens. I would therefore like to lobby the council to improve these routes. This would ensure that the risk of accidents is reduced and accessing campus is easier for not just students but the general public too.
