We are a business that receives over £3million of deliveries per year, and to do this well takes careful management.
With that in mind we are looking for an experienced logistics person to work with us to ensure the service that we provide is professional and extremely well organised.
You’ll be a dynamic person who is able to inspire and motivate a team whilst also being able to integrate well into an established commercial group of managers who depend on your efficiency. You’ll be keen to promote LUU’s values and provide a service that is befitting to an award winning Students’ Union.
As a Delivery Bay Supervisor you will be working with an exciting bunch of people across a range of different commercial outlets. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that deliveries are received and distributed, accurately recording stock movements and maintaining our stock management system.
In addition you will be responsible for monitoring and developing the team to achieve their full potential, whilst ensuring health and safety and operating procedures are followed at all times. You will also be a key player in organising and delivering stock takes in conjunction with our commercial teams and driving efficiencies.
The successful applicant will be computer literate and will have experience of working in a stock /stores/ warehouse environment. You will have previously held a supervisory role and had experience of leading and developing a team of staff and will be keen to work in a student focused environment helping our students “Love Their Time at Leeds”.
