The Churches Conservation Trust is the national charity protecting historic churches which are no longer needed for regular worship, and are therefore at risk. Our unique collection of over 340 English parish churches includes irreplaceable examples of
architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of history. With the help and support of volunteers, visitors, and local communities, we carry out an extensive conservation programme and the churches are kept open and in use.
